About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Can one have more than one 144hour visa

Example cruising from Korea to Beijing 3 days in Beijing leaving for Korea.
From Korea to Shanghai for 4 days flying to USA.
Can I get two 144 visas?

For your first entry, you cannot enjoy the 144h visa-free transit because your route is Korea - Beijing - Korea. This is not a transit, but a visit in Beijing. For your second entry, you qualify for it.
