Qualify for transit visa?

Good afternoon,

I have an upcoming trip to Bali at the end of November. I’m leaving the US, where I am a citizen, Nov 22nd. I arrive to Bali, Indonesia Nov. 24th....after a few days of Bali I plan to travel to Beijing China , arriving Nov 29th and leaving Dec 1. I have a separate ticket from Bali to China through Philippines airline. I leave Beijing Dec 1 through Delta. Do I need a visa prior to my arrival to China for those 48+hours? I’m so confused , cause I’m not sure if my travel plans are covered in the transit visa description. Thank you in advance.

Dear, if your route is Bali - Beijing - country C (not China or Indonesia), and Beijing is your only stop in mainland China on this way, you can enjoy the 144hrs visa-free transit there. Seperate tickets are fine.
