Frankfurt - Nanjing - Hong Kong - Paris ?

Would the itinerary Frankfurt - Nanjing - Hong Kong - Paris eligible for the transit visa?

Yes of course, if you are on one of the non-stop Frankfurt-Nanjing flights. Just be aware it is not a "transit visa" (which is something completely different which you have to pay for in advance) - you will be in "transit without visa".

Yes, this itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in entire Shanghai area, under the condition that your flights don't have any additional landing of any kind within mainland China.

By the way, you can also make your itinerary to look:

Frankfurt - Nanjing - Hong Kong - Frankfurt

If that is more convenient for you because of the country where you live.

Also, please use correct terminology because it is not a "transit visa", but 144 hour visa free transit. There is no visa at all.
