About:10-year China Visa for US and Canadian Citizens

applying while traveling

I am US citizen, CA official resident but rarely there. Live in MX part time and travel the rest. I will be leaving US and MX more than 3 months before travel to China so how and where to apply for tourist visa. Even applying in CA not practical because i am usually only there for a day at a time, passing through...

So you mean you will leave US more than three months before your travel to China, and you need to apply for China visa in another country? I don't advise you to do so because currently China embassies in many countries do not issue visa to temporary visitors.
