About:China Visa on Arrival

I have an EU Passport

Can I fly without a Visum to Shenzhen?
It is not a direct flight, can we transfer to the other flight or do we need to apply for a visum over there?

Is there an option to go to Guangzou to apply for visum on arrival?

This Shenzhen VOA at the airport is, honestly speaking, just a theory because the ground staff at the airport in your origin country simply will not allow you to board the plane when you tell them that you intend to apply for a VOA.
