About:China Visa on Arrival

I have an EU Passport

Can I fly without a Visum to Shenzhen?
It is not a direct flight, can we transfer to the other flight or do we need to apply for a visum over there?

Is there an option to go to Guangzou to apply for visum on arrival?

This Shenzhen VOA at the airport is, honestly speaking, just a theory because the ground staff at the airport in your origin country simply will not allow you to board the plane when you tell them that you intend to apply for a VOA. You need more than that. In reality, your best option is 144 hour visa free transit with arrival in Shenzhen or Guangzhou. Like this, you will tell to the airport staff at check-in that you will travel to Hong Kong via Shenzhen or Guangzhou and like this you will be eligible for 144 hour visa free transit.

Of course, you will have to book a ferry or train ticket to Hong Kong and have an e-confirmation for a ferry or a train in your hand at the time of your check-in in your origin country.
