About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

US- Singapore - Beijing- US

Hello,
I want to ensure I am understanding the approved travel route correctly. I will be traveling from the United States to Singapore for 5 days. From Singapore I will travel to Beijing for 5 days before returning back to the United States. Is this an acceptable route? Also I plan to stay with a friend while in Beijing. Is there anything specific that should be presented at immigration as I won't have a hotel confirmation?

Thank you!

Your itinerary, under the assumption that you have mentioned your all stops, is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing area. Your friend will send you an address and a phone number that you will mention during the process of application upon your landing in Beijing. There you will fill out a blue form where you will insert the identity of your friend, his phone number and the address. Beside the mentioned, you will also present your flight tickets in hard copy (e-ticket printouts). Also, keep in mind that you and your friend have to approach PSB (Public Security Bureau), in reality a police, within 24 hours after your arrival, where you will make a registration. When you have the above mentioned data and make a registration at the PSB, you don't need a hotel confirmation.
