About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travel from Iran to Taiwan

Dear supporter,
I have a resident visa for Taiwan and I am going to travel from Iran to Taiwan. I know Iran is not an eligible country for the Visa-Free Transit in China and during my travel, I have two stops in two cities of China for several hours. Would you please let me know that Taiwanese Visa does not cover a transit visa? Taiwan is a part of china and I feel having a Taiwanese Visa lets me to have some stops in Chinese airports during my travel without getting a transit visa. Am I right?
Thank you in advance for considering my case.
Regards

Your Taiwan visa has no bearing at all on your immigration requirements for mainland China.

Meysam, Iranian citizenship is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit. You should just avoid two airports (Urumqi and Xiamen) that require a visas obtained in advance for Iranian citizens.

Now, you are advised to inform us about the details of your itinerary and we will be able to offer you a correct and reliable answer.
