About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hong Kong & Shanghai

If i am flying from Australia to Hong Kong for 4 nights then onto Shanghai for 3 nights can i apply for this 144 day visa at the airport immigration point?

"144 day visa" does not exist. If your flight from Shanghai departs to a third country (not Hong Kong and not mainland China) you may be able to transit without a visa.
