About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I`m flying from Frankfurt to Hongkong via Shanghai but not leaving the transit area.

Then I'm flying from Hongkong to Shanghai and stay less then 144h
After that I will departure from Shanghai to Frankfurt.
So I assume the 144h visa for Shanghai should work ?

Claudia, your itinerary is definitely eligible for visa free transit in Shanghai area.

In reality, your first stop in Shanghai will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit and your second stop will be eligible for 144 hour visa free transit.

Just print out your flight tickets and enjoy your travel :)
