About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Xiamen

Applying for 144 hours visa for Iranian citizenship

Hello,
I am an Iranian student who has Germany residence; however, in order to attend an academic conference in Xiamen, I should travel to Xiamen. So, I was wondering to know can I apply for this 144-hour visa or similar ones on arrival? If no is there any the alternative option?

The only available option in your case is to obtain a single entry Chinese visa in advance at relevant, to you nearest CVASC in Germany. You will apply for China F Visa - Noncommercial Visit Visa to China. Anyway, to be entirely certain, please start your application through CVASC.
