About:China Tourist Visa

I am currently on a student visa (multiple entries) visa in Hong Kong.

My passport is Jamaican and I also have US residency. I would like to go to Shanghai and am wondering if I can get the Tourist visa upon arrival? Or what are the processes I have to go through to obtain a single-entry visa into Shanghai?

You have to go to the CVASC in HK. The list of required documents is on the website of the Chinese High Commission to HK.
