About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Visa free 144h

Good Morning. I leave Brazil on 03/02/2020 and arrive in Tokyo, Japan in 03/04. On 03/10/2020 I leave Tokyo to Shanghai and arrive in Shanghai at 21:30 on the same day 03/10. I stay in Shanghai and Beijing until 03/16/2020 at 16:30h, when I return to Brazil with a stop in New York. In that case I will stay less than 144h in China. Do I need a visa or do I comply with the visa free policy?

You cannot travel been Beijing and Shanghai on a visa free transit so visa is required. It's one or the other so you have to leave China from Shanghai to another country before you travel to Beijing
