About:Xian Long-Distance Bus

We would like to visit Hua Shan from central Xian on 23 or 24 October 2019.

Is the information about the Tourist Bus to Mt. Huashan the same at that time of year? what time would you recommend going to the bus-stop to maximise getting a place and minimise likely waiting time?

I note you have adviced another questionner to use the high-speed train, but I've been told that you should go to the high-speed station one and a half hours before the departure time. Is this correct? The trains seem to be almost booked up - is there a reason for this (eg. national holiday, fewer trains than in summer)

1. Nowadays, there is only one bus from east square of train station to Huashan and it departs at 8:00.
2. The most common and convenient way to Huashan: Take high speed train from Xi'an North Railway station to Huashan North Railway station. It takes only 40 minutes on the way and there are over 20 trains every day, while 2 hours by bus. After you arrive Huashan North station, you can take free bus to scenic area directly. It is not true you have to go to high speed train station one and a half hours in advance. Actually, you can take metro line 2 to Xi'an North station directly. It is easy and fast to go through security and to take your train.
