About:Do I Need A Visa for Guangzhou If Traveling from Hong Kong?

Transitvisa 144h and then to HK

I am traveling from Europe to Guangzhou and want to leave to Hong Kong via High Speed Train. Is it possible to do this with a transitvisa?

Moreover, can I use a transitvisa, I have an unused valid tourist visa in my passport and say, that I don't want to use the tourist visa but the transit visa?

Sorry, if you use high speed rail to out to HK, you cannot use any visa-free transit stay in Guangzhou. High speed trains cannot work for that. You may try another slow train from Guangzhou east to Hung Hom or flight.

If you have a tourist visa but still want to use visa-free transit, it is also fine. You can inform the officer there.
