About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

Hello! Can they deport me if my visa expires, but my papers are in government for a new visa?

I mean my old visa is expired, but my papers are in government for new visa, what if they will not give me a new visa? can they deport me if it is not my fault, but the company fault?????

As your papers are in government for new visa, they will not deport you in normal cases.

If your passport is at the embassy because you applied for a visa, then you will get a receipt that also acts as proof that they have your passport, in case anything happens. So shouldnt be a problem
