About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Two times within three weeks?

I read and understand the rules.
Our first visit will start by arriving from Copenhagen/Denmark to Beijing and stay 4 nights, then leaving to Vietnam.
I understand that this is correct for the 144 hour visa.

Two weeks later we will return from Vietnam and go back to Copenhagen.
This time we will stay around 10hours at the airport, we have to change flight copmany so we have to collect luggage and check in again.
Will that make any proble?
Can we ask for a new period or do we really have to have a VISA for staying at the airport.

With hope for an answer, best regards Fam Briselius

You don't need a visa for either transit. You are covered by 144 hours transit without visa for the first entry, and 24 hours transit without visa for the second. Assuming that your nationality qualifies, and that Beijing is the only stop in mainland China.
