About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Boarding pass ?

I have a flight from Pakistan to USA with a 3 day stay in Beijing. I booked the ticket as a multi city and I do not expect they will give me the boarding pass in Pakistan, I will probably get the boarding pass when in Beijing when I check in for my next flight a few days later. The total stay is 75 hours between flights. But will I be rejected if I only have a confirmed ticket print out but not a boarding pass for my next flight?

You really don't have to bother yourself with this detail. The explanation of certain details on this website is a bit clumsy and the real meaning is that your tickets have to be confirmed and not those on standby. In reality nobody expects that you have your boarding pass for a flight from Beijing on totally different airline and different ticket. Please, just be relaxed because if you are traveling:

Pakistan - Beijing - US

And you don't have any additional landing of any kind within mainland China and you are a US citizen, your itinerary is perfectly eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing area. Also, traveling on multi city, separate or any other type of ticket, with the exception of those on standby is eligible and will allow you to enjoy your time in Beijing and its surroundings absolutely visa free.
