About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Vise to China

we are having a tour for 9 days in China , then going on a 7 days cruise of Japan , returning to Shanghai for our return flight home ,Do we need double entry on our vise to China

For your 9-day trip in China, an entry is needed. For your returning trip, if you depart from Japan to Shanghai and then leave for Australia, it's possible to use the 144h visa-free transit. It means in this case a single entry visa is enough for you.
