About:Beijing Capital Airport Express Train

How long does it take from Beijing Capital Airport to the forbidden city and back?

my partner and I have only 8 hours layover is it enough to see the forbidden city?

It takes around 1 hour from the airport to it by taxi, and 1.5 hours by public transport. So the time is a little tight that you can visit part of Forbidden city. 2 hours sightseeing time is appropriate.
