About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

144-hr free Visa transit

We are flying from US to Singapore to take a cruise to Asia on 4/16/20 and ends on 5/2/20 in Shanghai. We plan to take a tour from Shanghai to Bejing then fly back home from Bejing.
Do we qualify for 144- hour free Visa Transit?
If we do, then how many days can we stay in China from 5/2/20 ?

Now I have changed my plan to just visit Shanghai for 4 days after my cruise that departs from Singapore for 16 days to Asia and ends in Shanghai.
Will I qualify for a 144 days Visa free?
