Brazilian official passport holder in a meeting at Shanghai

I'm Brazilian and I have an Official Passport from my government. I work for the federal republic of Brazil as a permanent staff. I'll attend to a meeting in Shanghai which will last for 5 days (total of 7 days in China). Is it necessary to apply for a visa?
