It can be used even for business purposes, but it is not necessary that you emphasize that on your visa application. Upon your arrival at the border crossing, you will just fill out the form as a usual visitor/tourist and also tell that you are going for a sightseeing, shopping, food tasting, whatever... After you enter Shenzhen, you will "encounter" your business friends and have a meeting. In reality quite a large percentage of Shenzhen visitors use Shenzhen visa exactly for that purpose. Again, without emphasizing of that purpose.0
