What kind of financial proof is required for a stay home mother applying for HK tourist visa?

My mother is a Vietnamese Citizen/Permanent US resident. She would like to apply for a 7-day Hong Kong tourist visa and will be travelling with me. She stays at home with no income and lives with me. I am a US citizen. What kind of financial proofs would she need to attach to her application?

You can be your mother's sponsor. You could write a guarantee letter for her and provide your financial standing, e.g. bank statements, savings accounts passbooks, tax receipts, etc. and proof of employment (if any), e.g. company leave letter, salary slips, etc.

Thank you Franklin! Two more questions:
1. Do I need to fill out any application as a guarantor to attach along with my mother's?
2. Do I need to attach passport photo of myself or is a copy of my passport is sufficient?
