About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have Indian Passport, i am travelling from Mexico city-Vancouver(Canada)-Guangzhou(china)-India

I have Indian Passport, i am travelling from Mexico city-Vancouver(Canada)-Guangzhou(china)-new delhi(India). I have layover of more than 13 hrs at Guangzhou. I also have B1/B2 USA visa.Do i need to apply for transit visa?. There is change of planes at Guangzhou.

You are definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in Guangzhou since your entire transit time is less than 24 hours. In other words, you don't need any kind of visa. You should just print out your flight tickets and have them in hard copy, ready to be presented to relevant authorities. Plane change in Guangzhou is not relevant for you because in case that you fly on separate tickets, you will apply for 24 hour free entry permit upon your landing in Guangzhou and after it is granted, you will proceed to collect your luggage and to perform new check-in for your onward flight to India.

In my opinion, probably a bigger challenge will be your layover in Canada. Indian citizens need a visa even if in a transit, at least as far as I know, although if you have a valid US visa, it can help you. Regardless of my opinion, I strongly advise you to check this detail about your transit requirements for Canada.
