Travelling to Beijing 4 Oct for 3 days, departing Tianjin 7th on a cruise, do I need a Visa? If so I will be applying in Dublin and I need a bankers draft for payment, how much will the Visa cost?

If your itinerary is Ireland - Beijing-Tianjin - A third country except China and Ireland, then you needn't to apply for a visa. If not, you have to apply for a transit visa in advance. It will cost EUR 33.
