Will Nanning airport staff require boarding pass or itinerary?

Or itinerary if tourist is found sleeping inside the terminal? Or is it advisable to sleep in the airport hotel? Is the airport open 24 hours?

No, you don't need to show the boarding pass or itinerary. And it will be ok for you to stay inside the airport terminal.
