About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Brazilian going to Thailand through Shenzhen

I'm a Brazilian passport holder.

Itinerary:
Departure: GRU > FRA > SZX (17-hours connection) > BKK
Arrival: BKK > PEK (13-hours connection) > FRA > GRU

I'd like to leave the airport for while at SZX and PEK. May I?

Thanks!

Thank you? Do I have to apply both at SZX and PEK? How much will they charge?

First of all, your itineraries are eligible for 24 hour visa free transit. This is the most important part.

To be allowed to exit the airport you will apply for 24 hour free entry permit upon your landings in the above mentioned Chinese cities. There is no guarantee that you will be allowed to do so because the issuing of entry permit depends entirely upon discretion of immigration authorities. To increase your chances, it is advisable to have a confirmation in hard copy of your hotel accommodation booking or similar. Having in mind the length of your layovers, your chances to be allowed to exit the airport are quite good.

Yes, you will apply separately in both cities, upon your landing. There is no charge for an entry permit application since it is not a visa. This is just a privilege to be allowed to exit the airport during your layover time.
