Marriage Certificate in HK

As far as I understand two foreigners cannot get married in China.

So we are planning to get married in Hong Kong. But will the Hong Kong Marriage certificate be valid in China? Or does it need to go through attestation?

As far as i know, you guys can married in Mianland China. If you get married in Hong Kong, your marriage certificate have to be authenticated.
