About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

New Zealand / Guangzhou/ New Zealand

Hi, Would my friends be eligible flying return? I noticed it includes trips to say Canton fair so this would generally be a return ticket?
So NZ/Guangzhou/NZ?
What if a NZ passport holder flying from Norway via Netherlands return?

You must be in transit to a third country. NZ-China-NZ obviously requires a visa. Netherlands-China-Netherlands likewise.
