Shenzen visa and then Chinese visa

Hi,

I plan to go to Shenzen through a 5-day visa and then go back to HK where I have a student visa.

Does this procedure have any impact on whether I can obtain a Chinese visa in Hong Kong afterwards ?

Thanks in advance for your answer,
Hadrien

Definitely not. All you have mentioned is unrelated. You are perfectly allowed to travel to Shenzhen on Shenzhen VOA and after that, upon your arrival or at some later time, to apply for a Chinese visa at Hong Kong CVASC.
