Sept last week + Oct first

Hi!
I plan to go on round Taiwan Island between 21.09 - 05.10 (Taipei, Yushan, Kenting).
What do you think about this period, how is the weather like, should I expect typhoon?

It is hot and wet during that time. The temperature may be 25-30C and you can take some breathable clothes. You might run into typhoon or not. May you have a good trip!
