Day trip to Xiling snow mountain in September, possible? What would be the recommended itinerary

Would it be possible to do a day trip from Chengdu to xiling snow mountain in September? What would be the attraction and recommended itinerary? Thank you.

Yes, of course. You can take direct bus to the snow mountain from Chadianzi Coach Station. The bus departs at 9:00 and 9:30 every day. You can go to Mandarin Duck (Yuanyang) Pond, Five-colored Waterfall, Sun and Moon Platform, etc.
