we are Vietnamese citizens travel to Shanghai and stayed 2 days, then take 5 days cruise to japan

We are Vietnamese citizens. We will stay 2 days in Shanghai, then take a cruise to Japan for 5 days, go back and stay in Shanghai for 2 days , then go home.
What type of visa do we need ?
