Will 1h 40 min enough for transfer from one flight to another flight in Kunming Airport

Hi,
I'm traveling from Jinan to Colombo from China eastern airline. I have to change the flight in Kunming Airport and baggage not checked by airline. I have a one Itinerary and both flights are from China eastern airline. I want to know the time will be enough for me to check out and check in procedure. If I missed the flight what should I do? This is the first time I'm traveling alone. So I'm bit nervous.
