About:Exit Regulations of China

Requirements for entry & exit for a 1 week visit to China

Chinese adoptee teen visiting China for one week. Teen is an American citizen. Do they need both US & Chinese passport to enter and exit China? Are there any "exit documents" needed from the State department or the US Consulate?

You need to apply for the China visa in advance in your country.

I think there must be Chinese Visa Processing Center in your country? You can go to visa for China to find related information.
