About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi I am travelling from Canada to Thailand, transiting in Beijing

Hi I am travelling from Canada to Thailand, transiting in Beijing BOTH on my way to Thailand and on my way back to Canada. On my return flight, I have a stop-over of approximately 80 hours, based on my air tickets. All flights are with China Airline.
1. Do I need a Chinese Visa already made before I leave Canada ?
Or
2. I can apply and get a 144 Hour visa when I get to Beijing Capital Airport when I arrive there?

Thank you very much in advance.

01. You don't need a visa
02. It doesn't exist a 144h visa, what do you mean is a transit without visa.

The transit without visa policy has been in place for several years, and has gradually been expanded. Can you confirm that your route is Canada-Beijing-Thailand-Beijing-Canada and you have no other stops? It is confusing that you wrote you will fly with "China Airline" because China Airlines flies to Taiwan. Perhaps you meant Air China? Please don't confuse these two different airlines.
