About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Malaysian transit in guangzhou to Toronto

I am a Malaysian travelling to Toronto on Southern Airlines which will transit in Guangzhou. Do I need to apply for a transit visa before flying or am I entitled to the 24hr free visa?

If your itinerary is:

Malaysia - Guangzhou - Toronto

And your entire transit time is less than 24 hours, you are definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in Guangzhou. In other words, you don't need any kind of visa. You should just have your tickets in hard copy.
