About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Notarize document

I need to get my documents notarized by the Chinese consulate in Melbourne. The education document was issued by an institute in Melbourne itself. I’m in another country, can I put the originals over and have it notarized?

No, you have to get you education document authenticated by the Departments of Foreign Affairs and Trade or its Office in States or Territories. The Chinese Embassy or Consulates General in Australia just certify the signature and stamps of the Departments of Foreign Affairs and Trade or its Office in States or Territories.
