About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Vietnam -> Shanghai -> Thailand -> Vietnam

Hello,

We'd like to travel the above route. Is it legal to get a 144-hour-free visa to visit Shanghai.

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Shanghai area, but you should take care that you flights don't have any additional landing within mainland China. Also, your citizenship has to be among 53 eligible countries.
