About:Visa on Arrival

Hi! We are an Spanish couple flying from Tokyo to London, with stop in Shenzhen.

We are arriving around 00:00, and the next day the flight is at 10am.
What do we need to do? I am not too sure if we need the 5 days permission, or we dont need anything as we are staying less than 24hours. In case of the last option, do we need to get some document in the airport?
Thank you!

Your itinerary:

Tokyo - Shenzhen - London

Is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit, so you don't need any kind of visa. You can also apply for 24 hour free entry permit upon your landing in Shenzhen to be allowed to exit the airport and spend the rest of the night in a hotel, but you are advised to book your accommodation in advance and to arrive in Shenzhen with an accommodation confirmation in hard copy. You don't need any specific documents beside your passports and flight tickets in hard copy.
