About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Milan bangkok and return with stopover in beijin

I plan to travel on jan 7th from Italy arriving in Beijing on 8th and would like to spend 144hours in the beijing region and leave for bangkok on jan 12th. I plan to fly back from Bangkok on March 1st and would like to spend 144 hours again in Beijing and leave for Milan on the 7th. Is it possible?

Yes, it is perfectly possible. All you have to take care of is that your flights to and from your Chinese destinations don't have any additional landing within mainland China. In other words, your flights have to be of nonstop type.
