About:China Tourist Visa

For those not applying in their country of citizenship, a proof of legal stay or residence status

Hi - I have a Dutch passport but have lived in UK for over 50 years. Being an EU member, I do not have "a proof of legal stay or residence status". What else can I provide?

Well, do you have any residence permit? If not, you can simply submit your passport to be used as the proof of legal stay or residence status.

Whilst UK is still a member of the EU, there has never been a need for any permit.... All I have is a Dutch passport.
