Inquiry about visa application

Hi! I am from Benin. I just completed my PhD studies in China, and got a postdoctoral research offer from my university. I will then be employed by the university with a work visa. However, I have to move out China and apply for work visa and come back. Is that possible for me to get such visa in Malaysia? If yes, what documents do I need? By the way, I can enter Malaysia and stay for one month without visa. Thanks

Not sure if you can apply in Malaysia without a visa, because it is required on the documents that applicants should provide a valid certificates of legal stay like visa when apply at Malasia. The other documents are: Passport, Visa Application Form and Photo, the original and copy of "Employment License for Foreigners".

By the way, if you are in China, you could go to local Public Security Bureau (PSB) Exit and Entry Administration office and directly change your student visa into the Work Visa.
