Tourist visa for Thai citizens, what are the limits as to the number that can be issued?

Hi there, My wife is thai. She had to get a tourist visa to enter china and needs to stay with me and the children for 30 days. The kids got 30 days but she was only given 15 and was not allowed multiple entry? Can she get another visa issued if she leaves china and goes back to bangkok, or is the a limit to the number of tourist visas a person could have in a certain period of time, many thanks

No, there is no limit for the number of visa application. your wife could go to the local Public Security Bureau (PSB) Exit and Entry Administration office to extend her tourist visa. Or she can apply for the S2 visa next time.

Hi there Carol, thanks for your answer, the S2 wasn't possible as she didn't do the health check or the kids. We had very little time or money so will have to do the tourist and convert onto my residence.

She can apply for multiple visas, thanks again, KArl
