Do i qualify for 144 hour transit visa? i am a USA citizen

I will be flying from Tokyo to PEK on September 25. And will be flying out of PEK on September 29 to Washington DC. Do I qualify for the 144 hour transit visa?

Yes, you do. Of course, the condition is that both of your flights don't have any additional landing within mainland China and your second flight should not have a landing of any kind in Japan.
