About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Mexico - China (Shanghai) - China (Beijing) - Islamabad (Pakistan)

Hi, I am Pakistani citizen and traveling from Mexico city (Mexico) on Aeromexico Airline and in Shanghai I have 14 hours transit and then I will take AirChina flight (Shanghai to Beijing) with 3 and half hour before next flight to Islamabad, Pakistan.

Eligible for 24 or 144 hours free transit visa?

Hassan, I understand that the first flight of your itinerary is:

Ciudad de México - Shanghai with AM98 and with arrival in Shanghai at 09:30

Anyway, I really don't find the following:

Shanghai - Beijing - flight that departs at around 23:30

and

Beijing - Islamabad - flight that departs around 03:00

Could you, please, just make it a bit more clear because I assume that you will use the flights:

Shanghai - Beijing and Beijing - Islamabad that are not direct, but have some additional landings.

With the mentioned landings, it is quite possible that you will not remain within 24 hours and also keep in mind that you cannot use Urumqi airport if you intend to remain eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in China.

I will wait for your flights to tell you definitive conclusion regarding your eligibility.
