Is it possible i appeal this for a closer interview date ?

Hello, I have a visa interview appointment schedule for 20 of September, and i have a deadline date to resume at my school by 10th September. Is it possible i appeal this for a closer interview date ?
I checked with the school already and 10th is the deadline date for me to be in china.
