About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Xiamen

Is the Kinmen ferry eligible for a 144 visa free visit?

Itinerary would be: fly in from europe, stay in xiamen for less than 144 hours, take the ferry to Kinmen, and continue on to Taipei

Yes, Kinmen ferry is eligible because Xiamen Wutong Port, from where Kinmen ferries depart, is eligible for that purposes, but you should have in mind the following:

- Your arrival in Xiamen should not have any additional landing in mainland China and Taiwan of any kind
- You need a ticket or an e-confirmation for Xiamen - Kinmen ferry with your name in your hand before your check-in in Europe

If the above conditions are fulfilled, you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Xiamen.
