About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

SGN-SZX-HKG-SGN

Hello, I want to attend to business meeting in Shenzhen for 4 days. Do the 144 hours visa free also apply for business events? Or I should rather tell the immigration that I'm visiting Shenzhen?

Could you please inform me if my following routes are eligible:
SGN-SZX-HKG-SGN

From Shenzhen to Hongkong I plan to go by ferry.

Is flying back to Ho Chi Minh City from HK ok or I would need to fly to another country?

Tammy, you didn’t mention your nationality. If you are Vietnamese then you need a visa. If your passport is from one of the 53 qualifying countries then your route is fine, but note that you must have your confirmed ferry ticket in your hand when you check in at SGN. It’s ok for business events.
