Direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Hohhot

hi
what visa should i apply for direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Hohhot and If i have to transit at Beijing and fly back to Hohhot what visa should I apply
We plan to use airplane for save time.

Dear, do you mean you will take a direct flight from KL to Hohhot, and then to Beijing, and then fly back to Hohhot and exit from China? If so, you need to apply for a single entry visa for China. The type depends on your visiting purpose. If for sightseeing purpose, apply for a tourist visa.
